Okay im a little confused about sometihng.. Open loop is what you run when your tunning and closed loop is what you run every day *correct?* im just wondering because. I know my prmairy o2 sensor has gone out and gas milage has dropped consderably to the point im at about 20mpg when i was at 27mpg... I was just wondering if i switched back over to open loop would that help with gas milage till i get a new o2 sensor?

Correct - closed loop is normal. Yes, you probably would be better off in open loop until the o2 sensor is replaced.

Just currious again lol.. so running in open loop shouldnt really effect if i boosted? Or would the lean cut just kind of be in effective?

Turning off closed loop does not disable lean cut. Generally speaking, when your o2 sensor goes out, it starts reading excessivly lean, so you will probably get cut all the time for false lean conditions anyway. If you know your tune is good, since open loop is what is used in boost anyway, you could simply disable lean cut until you get a good sensor. This is your call obviously, but I know my tune is good, and if my sensor went bad, I would have no problem turning off lean cut. I also know my closed loop, if any thing, stays in the negative fuel trims, so in open loop, I would run 'a little richer', not 'crazy' rich as will happen if your sensor reads dramatically lean when damaged.

alright.. well i knwo my tune is good for sure! i mean its what i drive on a day to day bassis lol.. so ill just go flip it over right now! i just wanted to be sure with it in open loop its not going to see it as lean and just cut me out.
