Hello,
I have a 2001 GSR with a skunk2 intake manifold (type R style). I have a 2001 Type R ecu right here and tried plugging it in my car and always get a check engine light that will not give out a code after jumping the wires.... I can't figure it out. It just stays on that whole time. The car runs great with the new ecu but would like to know why I am getting a check engine light?
Lemme know,
Ryan

Alright well I got ride of the code by desolder the demobilizer chip from my p72 obd IIb(2001) and soldered it into the p73 ecu (2001). Now I sometimes get a code 45 which means running too lean or too rich. Is this common since the Type R fuel maps are much more aggresive? I just ordered a fuel pressure reg. and guage and will be getting a dyno with a wide band hookup done soon.... Will this fix the problem? I also have a VAFC....
