how will hondata react to a nitrous setup

Please do not suggest I allow hondata to control the system as I refuse to run a dry set up. I have a direct injection wet nitrous system in place and ready to run as well as a MSD ignition controler that is set to retard the timing when I shoot the nitrous. I was wondering how hondata will react if I do not give it any control over the nitrous.

Hondata will not react since it is not controlling your system. It will only read the change in air temp.

Personally, I would opt for hondata nitrous control. Tried it on the dyno with a 60 shot nitous and it really did add 60 HP.

With the way the Hondata can control nitrous and fuel, there is no reason to run an inferior wet setup. You will also have timing issues and have a much higher chance of destroying your engine.

I run a 100 shot direct port wet set-up/S100. My tuner said that when the nitrous is spraying the timing is retarded automatically.??

but it is much safer and easier to tune when you have the ecu also controlling the fueling, not just relying on a jet to supply the needed fuel.
