RSX Type-S hondata reflash! help!!

hey I have an stock 2002 RSX type-S and I want to get the hondata reflash as my first mod because I heard many great thing about this.

But i also heard that you need ITR cams to get that performance boost.

Is this true????
so if I have a stock 2002 RSX type S, I shouldn't get the reflash until I get the cams because it will give me poor performance as well as low fuel efficiency????

Please help me. Thanks in advance.

The RSX reflash works very well on a stock engine, or a stock engine with a cold air intake. A cold air intake is good bang for the buck. (We would not recommend a 'short ram' intake). Fuel economy with the reflash is the same or very slightly better than stock.
