Something strange happened!?!

Hi!
I was out driving the other day,when i suddenly realised that my water temp. instrument quit working! I checked all my fuses under dash and in engine bay,everything ok. Then i changed back to the original ecu and started the engine......this time it works :? ! I fitted the Kpro,and the instrument didn't work! What can be wrong :?: ?! it have been working perfect since i fitted my Kpro(2 1/2 months ago!)
