I currently have an 89 civic with a b18a that has a wet nitrous system on it. The main thing I need from the system for the nitrous is to alter the timing when the nitrous is shot. I like the engine speed, throttle position, and mph features of the s100 but I do not need an increase in fuel from the vehicle fuel system as I have a separate fuel cell, fuel pump, solinoid, and regulatior.

I actually have a MSD ignition controler on it now that is able to retard the timing during the nitrous. I've been told by the tune shop that the MSD ignition controller will no longer be necessary with the s100 system.

What I am thinking is that I could hook both the nitrous and the fuel solinoid up to the s100 switch for the nitrous. I would have the fuel pump run on a separate switch that would remain on during a whole run. I am hoping that the s100 system will run on the same fuel map, or possibly just duplicate the standard map.

Will this work or is there something I'm missing...suggestions?

You will be much better off setting the nitrous up as a dry system and then allow the Hondata to control the additional fuel and timing needs when under nitrous conditions.

Well setting the system up as a dry system would almost mean buying a whole new nitrous system and then reinstalling it. It also means that I can not use a big shot of nitrous down the road if I want because the original fuel system will never be able to handle running the engine on top of the nitrous system. Even with a higher flow fuel pump and larger injectors I don't think the car would ever run properly without the nitrous running.

Based on your response I'm assuming you don't think my hypothesis will work and that I should go a different tuning route.

You don't have to get a different kit, just set it up as a dry kit. If you need more fuel, get larger injectors and you should be able to handle all the fueling needs of your system with the Hondata.
