i have the hondata s200 setup and when i turn the car on, the box doesnt blink and then stay on. it just comes on and stays on. i was reading the website and it said that the box should blink once and then remain constant. now when i start the car it will idle correctly, but as soon as you apply the throttle the car misfires and completely saturates the spark plugs. I have changed the base tune twice and still have the same problem. someone told me to check the distributor, but i was reading and noticed this thing with the led. if it isnt important to blink and then stay on then i know that it isnt the hondata that is messed up but i am beginning to question whether the box is malfunctioned or not. my friend bought a hondata stage 2 and his was a bad unit and had to be sent back. i bought mine from the same guy and am now wondering if mine is bad too. any help that you can give me is appreciated. I have a B20/Vtec with 440cc RC injectors, T3/T04e turbo, 3 bar map sensor, JG Edelbrock intake manifold, stock bottom end and stock fuel pump. If i have left out any info that you might seem pertinent please let me know. i would like to get this damn thing running right. Thanks again for your help.

Doesn't sound like there's something wrong with your Hondata unit. Try another Base program.

It's running too rich or too lean.

i have tried 2 base maps now and unless the guy i am getting them from doesnt know what he is doing, then i dont know what to think.

It's possible that he doesn't know what he's doing but It's more likely that he doesn't how your car behaves and basemaps are not that easy to do it right.

You can't buy from me. I don't wanna F* up your engine. I only tune when I'm in front of the actual car.

Use ROMEDITOR3.

Create a new ROM.
Make appropriate selections and click the compensation part for the bigger injectors.

This map will still be off without the use of a wideband.

A customer I tuned earlier was running rich.
