KPRO PROBLEM WITH HONDA INTEGRA TYPE R JDM SPEC

Post by japerformance »

Hello,

wonder if someone can shed some light on a problem we are having on a DC-5 integra type r.

- the calibration attached and named (running file )
- a datalog of a problem cannot datalog
- what sort of vehicle you have integra type r
- what sort of ECU you are using PRC
- anything about the car which has been modified from stock exhaust and induction kit
- a specific description of the problem

right here goes on the description ill try and keep it as simple as i can but it gets a bit confusing.

We got an ecu back after having it converted to a kpro, we disconnected the battery and connected the ecu in the car, reconnected the battery and hooked up the laptop. we turned the ignition on and i downloaded the current map on the kpro to the laptop and named it running file which i have attached. i then created a new file and used the stock calibration named K20A2-RSX-STOCK on 310cc injectors i then tried to upload it and it came back with upload error. I then updated my software to the latest version and now we cant even get readings on the sensors and still wont upload anything.

Anyone have this problem before

Regards

Make sure you have the latest version, then use Help -> Test USB to determine if the USB is working.

If not problems then use Online -> Clear Security, then upload your calibration.

Thank you for the quick response.

I downloaded the lastest software and that didnt cure the problem either. I even uninstalled the software reinstalled it and updated it again sameo samo ;)

I have had the cover off and the led's show communications are fine when connected kmanager also indicates this by saying online and ignition on in the bottom left hand corner.

the datalogging isnt working ie the sensor section of the software shows no outputs from any sensor and the tables are blank and on the 3d tables is just black and white with no ghaphing.

thank you again

What does Online -> Information show? If you load a calibration and upload it, what happens? What happens when you start datalogging?

Is it good to upload RSX-S caliration to the Stock JDM engine? I though JDM Integra Type-R and USDM RSX Type-S engines are little different.
