cant get lm-1 to work in ELD input

Post by Carp »

Im trying to use an innovate LM-1 with my s300 I tried hooking the Aux output of the LM-1 to the ELD input of the ECU but I cant get it to come up in the sensors?
what does the LM-1 show up as ? the eld or the O2. I cant get it to show in either one. I am setting the sorce as the eld and setting it to the innovate, but like I said its still not working.
if anyone is useing the LM-1 please let me know how yours is working and what your settings are.
thanks

I'm runnin the lm-1. Set ur settings to eld as the source and the lm1 for the quick select. As for the lm1 make sure you are using the right output wire. re calibrate the output to read 1v for 10afr and 2v for 20 afr in logworks, that prolly the problem. If that doesn't fix it, make sure you have the eld enabled in the misc file of the parameters folder.

I had trouble getting my lm-1 to read properly. I used the innovate software to re-program my lm-1 output to read like a PLX, then told the Smanager I was using a PLX. I had to fine tune the reading a little, but it works great now, I love the way it will datalog over the fuel maps!

For using correctly LM-1 or PLX with ELD input:
- Replace R1136 ( 10k ) by a diode (1N4148 with the cathode to +5V
- Replace R138 ( 10k ) by a diode (1N4148) with the anode to Gnd
- Replace R137 of 100K by 1K
