SManager V1.1.8

SManager V1.1.8 can be downloaded here

It is not a beta version - it is the next release without the ITB calibration. The reason the ITB calibration is not in this release is that we are waiting on legal advice before releasing that calibration. Once this occurs a normal release of V1.1.8 will take place.

There are some significant changes:

- secondary tables
- additional nitrous output
- two more output pins (ALTC and FANC)
- a utility to set the ignition timing
- another analog input (for EGT etc)
- rearranged ECT compensation tables into open/closed loop
- better column indexing for both MAP and TPS indexed tables

Note the 'medium load' ECT compensation table has been dropped and only the low and high load retained - the intermediate values are interpolated so this should not cause any problems. Note the closed loop compensation tables are odd from the factory (one is zeroed). Please do not use the compensation tables to tune your engine - they are compensation tables only. Normally you do not need to change the compensation tables - if you do, something else is usually wrong and should be addressed first.

The secondary tables can be used for ITBs so that the engine runs using the TPS sensor for one table and then switches to using the MAP sensor on the secondary table. Note that we obtained best results using the TPS sensor for all load conditions. See 'Tuning ITBs' in the help file for more information.

We are not ignoring recent requests for changes to SManager. Changes made to SManager may take a few weeks to a few months to appear in a released version.

Could you please help with the alternator and radiator fan outputs? What should be modified? Are these pins functional in OBDI vehicles? I thought there was no control of the ECU over the radiator fan.

some problems i found with 1.1.8 is that when trying to copy and paste values such as air temp correction values it will not allow the past even though the rows and columns selected are equal. even when manually inputting values it changes and for instance i cannot change the last 2 values of temp without them reverting back to 120* or 149*. in the last column i can type in 250* but it will change back to 149.

You can not copy and paste from anything other than the fuel & ignition tables. The first and last values of the compensation tables are fixed.

thanks.

redownloaded and installed 1.1.8 and the last values of air comp temp still do not change.

The first and last temperature values are fixed. You cannot change them. This is deliberate behaviour and is not a bug.

What happened to the "settings" tab that allowed me to change what units my display shows? Also what happened to the ability to change the column units.

They have not changed.

If you go up to the Options tab and select settings the contents have changed.

With earlier versions you had the following tabs:

General
Units
Display
Wideband Lambda
Autotune

Now the Settings window is different.

Either resize the settings window to make it bigger or use the arrow buttons on the top right to scroll through the tabs.
