Well i recently uploaded to hondata a specific map for my mods, and ran it. Man did the car feel real good. But anyways, i stopped in this neighborhood because i threw my usual high voltage TPS sensor code(TPS Sensors bad), so as usual i turned the car off so it would clear the CEL. So i was still chilling in the neighborhood, so i decided why not mess with the idle valve duty cycle adjustment in the idle tab so it could idle better as i'd imagine it hasnt been idling right due to the broken TPS. So i adjusted it a little lower and then uploaded the setting and the car turned off, As that does sometimes happen. So as i go to crank it back on it doesnt. Now, i keep trying with no luck. I Think to myself maybe i dont got enough gas as the needle was somewhat close to E. Go get some gas, crank it back over. Nothing. So i keep at it, and sometimes it does crank up but doesnt hold and turns off. I finally gave up, and me and the old man towed the shit with a really strong chain attached to my tow hook. LOL I was only 2 miles away anyways from my house tops.
Now my question is, has this happened to anyone and does anyone have a clue what it could be or what could be the cause because as of now i have no idea. :?:

Sounds like you uploaded a kal with the immobilizer enabled when it shouldn't be.

I just checked the map i was originally using and the immobilizer is not checked off. So i dont think that could be it..

Does it start back up with the original map? I assume no since you had it towed.

Then it doesn't sound like it was the map change... especially if it will start to fire and just won't stay running. Time to start troubleshooting the other areas of the car.
If it was my car, I'd try to start the car with like a slight about of throttle and see if it fires and stays running until the throttle is lowered a little. If that's the case, perhaps your IAC or IAC port in the tb is simply clogged.
Next I'd check the plugs to see if they're fouled out.
Another thing to consider is that cranking fuel is way too high. A common symptom of cranking fuel being too high is that the car will start right up when cold but will act like it's 'flooded' when warm and starting. When this used to happen to me, I would hold the throttle plate wide open for about a minute, then let off start the car with perhaps 5% throttle and then could let off the pedal all the way once it fired.
Hope that helps. I'm not a mechanic so if those simple steps don't cut the mustard, you should probably wait for a reply from hondata or start troubleshooting via your service manual.

First try clearing security, then upload a brand new map from File, New. Your old calibration may be corrupted.

Ok, i tried clearing the security and uploading 2 maps. Same thing happened, Car turned on for a split second and then goes off. Its not the map, Now im confused...
Do you guys think a really messed up TPS sensor would cause this? As my TPS has been messed up for a while now, maybe it took a complete shit on me this time?

If the car has known problems, you need to fix those first.

I agree. So far on k20a.org it was maybe suggested that my map sensor died also, as that oculd be a cause too. I will yet again go home next week to see if i could get this car back on the road and update this thread. Thank you Spunkster.

Ok guys, Tried a Good working Throttle Body, And nothing. It still reacted the same, in that it starts for a flash second then turns off. Its not the MAP or the TPS thats causing this, that i know so far.... My next idea is try another ECU.
