Absolute or Atmospheric?

I have a simple question about the sensor display readings. If you click on the "Sensors" button on the main window, it pops up a list of all the sensors that the ECU is reading. Under the MAP sensor reading, is the reading for this sensor absolute pressure or is it relative to atmospheric? Thanks guys!

It depends on the unit - inches and lbs are atmospheric based, everything else is absolute. Double click on the MAP sensor to change the unit.

So if I have my units set to PSI and it's showing 6PSI at idle, (assuming 14PSI is atmospheric) this is really 8PSI of vacuum or ~16 inches of mercury?

It will be absolute. Change your units to "/lbs if you want atmospheric.
