Hondata

Hey,

I have a Stage 4b with the 2.5 software.
A friend of mine ordered a stage 2 system so I could tune it for him. He has a JDM P08 ECU. I installed the Hondata system for him, and the ROM that kinda works is the JDM P72 ROM.....but after a few seconds the CEL comes on.


Can someone with Version 3 Rom editor burn me a ROM with JDM B16A MAP for the P08 ECU - then convert to ver 2.5 Rom and email it to me? My email is Scott@hondaracing.ca This will at least get my friend up and running till I can sort the problem out with Hondata, since they claim on their webpage that P08 is possible with stage 2/3/4, but S series is reccomended....

Can't find anywhere in the application chart that the P08 will work on a stage 2.

P08J has notes 1 & 2, which are:


1) Hondata s100/s200 and Stage 2/3/4 systems are both available for these OBDI ECUs but it is recommended to use the s100 or s200 system.

2)Manual transmission only with the s100 or s200 systems.


So based on Note 1, Stage 2/3/4 should support it, right?

That note is before the the P08J rom came out. So I don't think it will work with Romeditor 2.5 or even stage 2/3/4 systems. It it should work then it will be made known.

There's no P08 ECU when I try to convert to version 2.5..Sorry can't help you out there man
