Different rev limiter if stuck in low cam on Euro R H22A?

Post by Vexamus »

Hey all, I'm still working out the bugs in my Euro R H22A with a P30 and s100.

I got the base program for the Euro R and it runs great. I still have to get a VTEC oil pressure switch so vtec will work, or if you could tell me how to bypass it so that it won't throw a code 22.

Here's my question

I'm stuck in lowcam, but I still make great power even up high, but theres a rev limiter at 6500, what's up with this? I had my dealer set my rev limiter at 8200.

Disabling VTP

Post by Hondata »

You need to get whoever supplier you with the base map to disable the VTP error in RomEditor.

Actually, I found a much easier fix than that.

Just clip D6 at the ecu, the VTP and splice it into the VSM(without breaking THAT circuit). or just run a jumper wire from D6 to A4 and it's fixed, no codes and vtec works perfectly.
