I just received my Comptech Supercharger :D I was hoping that someone could help out a newbie with a few questions? I have a 2002 RSX-S that I am putting a comptech supercharger with K-Pro onto.

My first question is after I get back my ECU from Comptech, how can I set the K-pro to run the car without the supercharger? (I wont be installing the supercharger for a couple of weeks and would like to run the car with just a cold air intake). The reason I ask is that I read that the comptech map cannot be changed without deleting it??? Can I set up the K-pro so that it will switch between a N/A map and the Comptech supercharged map without deleting the comptech map?

My second question is if I would like to retain the cars immobilizer, do I need to send in the key with the immobilizer when the K-Pro is done?

If Comptech has a calibration for their supercharger, than ask Comptech for the calibration. For NA install the KPro and use one of the cold air calibrations in KManager. When you install the supercharger, just start with a supercharger calibration (matched by injector size and type).

If you have the original vehicle ECU then your immobilizer will work as long as you enable it. Otherwise, here are the instructions for Acura to reprogram the immobilizer.
