Can you describe what you want in a little more detail? What rpm do you have the launch limiter set to, and what rpm hystersis do you see?

it sounds like he has an issue with how far the RPMs drop and how slow they drop/come back up. he's probably thinking of AEM and other 2-steps that crackle and pop and seem to be keeping the RPM at the desired level.
with hondata you get a "slower" rise and fall of the tach needle.
am i close?

I was street tuning my car last night and I had my launch control set to 3500rpm but I noticed that the tach wasn't reaching that high and it was coming back up very slowing compared to other launch controls I have used and seen. So I started looking through the help section and came across this in the help section;
The stock and recommended setting is a Fuel only rev limiter. By selecting Fuel + Ignition, the ignition is also cut when the rev limit is activated.
Important Note: Since the ECU ignitor output is disabled when the ignition limiter is in effect and the stock tachometer is driven from the ignitor, the tachometer will not work when the ignition cut rev limiter is in operation.
So I think its actually faster than it appears. I built 6lbs of boost even at that low of rpm in 4 pops.
