When running my ac it keeps turning off for no reason. we have monitored and we are driving normaly only using 10-20% throttle. auto turn off is at 55%.

but out of the blue it starts blowing hot air. if I turn it off wait a few moments, then turn it on it comes back to blowing cold again.
Any ideas?

It could be that there is not enough pressure in the system to keep it running. You should have the AC system inspected.

already been done. pressure is .15 of a lbs more jsut to be sure. (tried it at factory specs still same issue)

ther are no leaks and it holds fine.

I was thinking it's tied to the hondata ac controller some how. is there a way that in the next version you offer a check box to disable the ecu from controlling the ac cut off liek it does now? that way if we want it off we have to manually turn it off liek onthe older hondata units? This might resolve the issue if it's hondata related.

We have AC hooked up in a turbo B18C swapped EK hatch. No problems with it turning off at anything other than the Hondata set specifications.

How long is the AC running when it shuts off? What vehicle is this in, and what all has been done to the car?

When you datalog do you see the ac signal being turned off when this happens?

Datalog and check the ac switch vs ac clutch. If the ac clutch lags the ac switch by a second, all is normal. If the ac clutch switches off on its own, check ac cut settings. It most likely is the high/low pressure switch in the ac line. Be aware that the ac switches off with high pressure as well as low. In this case, you'll see the ac switch input cycle off.

sorry i've been busy and have not had time to visit the ac issue yet. I'll let you know once I do more investigating.

ran some checks and we resolved the issue.

ac cutout if set at above 65% throttle causes car to buck and can cause it to shut off for no reason.

fixed by lowering ac shutoff to 60% throttle. no problems since.
