99 cvic with 96 gsr b18 sputtering problem..please help

i have a 99 civic with a 96 gsr b18 swap...
the car has a cold air intake and a cat back exuast....nothing to special

sometimes rite around when vtec should kick in it sputters and i loose almost all power...sometimes ir does it at low rpm also..last night i was drivin and it just stalled in traffic while sitting at a light..after 3 or 4 seperate tries it started and ran like shit but i got home lol

soo along my proses of emilination ive done a complete tune up and replaced the vtec selenoid..500 $$ later and still runs like a dog with 3 legs
soo i hooked it up to my boys snap on modis to see what codes if any we could pull out of the ecu...it gave me a bank 1 to rich code..witch i cleared...ran the car for 20 miles or so...check engin light didnt come back on. but it still runs like shit...someone told me that the cat could be clogged,. so i pulled it off...its hollowed out. i assume from the owner before me

so my question is have you or anyone you know had this problem...if soo what is it and how do i fix it, cuyz no micanic i take it to can figure it out... some say it could be the fuel pump..some say fule pressure regulation....last but not least the o2 sensors... witch from honda are 259 each.. soo please help,

thanks for readin, who ever looked, i replaced the whole distributer cap and it fixed it, i assume it was fouling out , i duno, but it rips now, so thanks
