Does the s300 have the ability to turn off the Iacv. Mine is bad and I dont want to spend the cash to get a new one.

It can turn off the error, but your ca may have idle problems without a IACV working. You should be able to find one in the junkyard or on

what engine are you running? if it is a B series, there is a simple cleaning method you can do to make sure your valve is in fact bad, and not just a little dirty. Reply here if you would like to know how to do that.

Would this cleaning method consist of more than spraying carb cleaner into it? I bet mine could use a cleaning.

I'm running an S300 on a boosted LS/VTEC OBD1 civic. The intake manifold is OBD0 b16. I removed and blocked off the IACV all together, and didn't make any changes in the S300 calibration.
With that said:
When I start the car COLD, it idles low (like it would without the valve) and I just have to make sure to warm it up before I drive it. When the car is WARM, there is no problem and the car works fine. So, if you're IACV is bad, it shouldn't make that much difference than to just unplug it.
