Car wouldn't start, reuploaded .kal -> car starts???

Earlier today I got the CEL for EVAP Control System Failure (Canister) which is normal on 05-06 K-PRO'd cars. I choose to leave OBD-II enabled and reset the CEL when it comes up which isn't more than once a week.
Anyways, CEL comes on this morning, I reset it when I get home and go inside and do stuff.
I get ready to leave earlier and the car would NOT start, as if I had the immobilizer enabled. I try to crank it 3 times and nothing would happen, RPMs would reach 2 or 300 but it would never crank.
Grab the laptop, reupload my dyno tuned .KAL and the car starts instantly.
Cliffs:
- Normal CEL came on, reset it, went inside
- Tried to leave, car would not crank as if immobilizer was enabled
- Reuploaded KAL
- Car starts
- Why?
Note, I didn't upload a calibration earlier today, I haven't changed my calibration since I got dyno tuned so I dunno. My ECU's immobilizer is not keymatched to my hardware so I've always left the immobilizer off but the symptoms were exactly what happens when I turn the immobilizer on and try to start the car.
