I hope this is just a simple mistke on my part...

Hooked up my new s300 and lap top, cant get any info to come up on my computer... would not let me into the cars computer... car runs I just cant get in to tune it...

What am I doing wrong?

when u turn the key of the car with the laptop hooked to the ecu does it change on the bottom left of the s300 manager from offline to online?

It stays offline

Doing a lot of research... maybe my laptop is not picking up on my usb driver ? or i did not install it corectly?

In the device manager of windows, what shows up under USB when you plug in the s300 and turn the ingition switch to the on position?

Another very important question is who socketed your ecu? Have you also made sure that the s300 is properly inserted into the ecu...making sure all pins are properly seated?

Have not tryed the device manager... will try tonight...


I shipped the ECU to you guys...Hondata did all the work...

I installed the usb driver... when I turn the key on in the lower corner... it goes from off line to on line... start the car up... and I still have no running parameters ... I'm new to hondata, maybe I'm still doing somthing wrong... I'm on line, car running, laptop hooked up the parameter on the left side are not reading info

On the "hot keys" at the top of the screen, right next to the datalog button there is the record parameters button, press it

If you do not begin datalogging, then you will see nothing on the screen.

I would highly recommend gointo Help at the top of the screen and then clickign on Contents. Read though this and you will get a better idea of how to use the software.

yeah, there is a lightning bolt looking button and a red record button. with the car on, both of those should be clickable and you should see values being datalogged into the lambda table as well as the sensors and display tabs.
