What problems are you referring to? With the s300 about 99.9% of all problems are from people trying to socket the ecu themselves and damaging the ecu.

If socketing is the issue. I agree that the problems can come from people socketing it themselves. I had a friend socket mine and that ended badly. Bye, bye P72 ecu. He did have experience with this, but he didn't have the best tools available to him. And you need to be carefull about it. I went out and bought another OBD1 P72 and had it done professionally. It has worked great ever since. I even watched the guy do it. You really need to know what you are doing and have the right equipment. I feel that the Hondata is a great product. Just as long as it is installed properly.

If you are talking about software issues, I don't like seeing that either. But when people let them know, they seem to fix the problem as soon as they can.

Thanks for the replies. What would it cost to have hondata socket an ecu?
