s300 question.....

Is there a certain s300 chip that goes with each application? or does it just depend on the obd plug set up? i guess what i'm really trying to ask is that how do i know if i have the wrong ecu. i bought mine from jackson and there was confusion on the year of my Integra (obd2a vs obd2b) so it had to be sent back... for some reason, jackson thinks that my car is a civic ex even though i ordered integra gsr supercharger. my ecu plugs up and seems to be working fine but some people are telling me that it is supposed to be vehicle specific? just wanted to make sure i got the right one.

The S300 is the same for both OBDIA and OBDIB ECUs. You have the correct ECU, otherwise the car would not start. Make sure that you have the right calibration, and you should be fine.
