Timing question

D16y8 im set at 12 degrees on the dis what does the timing at the ecu see.

Now if my timing is say at 10psi at 7000 rpm is at 10deg does this mean what??

The best way is to rotate the distributor until the timing as measured by a timing light matches that shown in SManager. Then the tables in SManager will equal actual timing.

So basicly the hondata says 18.5 set the under hood timing to 18.5?

Yes. Sometimes it helps in the ignition table to use the same value over the idle area while setting the timing (eg 20 degrees from 500-1500 rpm, columns 1-5).
