A little problem

I'm guessing this is coming from my s300. It seems to be hitting rev limit about 7k. I've downloaded a few calibrations to try them but nothing. I've changed just about everything except my 6a box and coil. I'm going to call msd in the morning to see if it's a possible problem(allthough I seriously doubt a failure would do something like this). If I free rev it in neutral it will just hit about 7k and bounce same as if I was driving it. Is this a common problem that I'm overlooking or do I need to send my ecu in to get checked? BTW This car is a supercharged. Thanks in advance.

Make sure you don't have one of those MSD rpm pill things. If its a 6000 'pill' and your rev limiter is set for '7' - it will stop at 6k.

It's a 6A not a 6AL but thanks.

Its a 94 integra gsr. JRSC LSVTEC with a p28 s300 v 1.1.5. Approx 12psi. As far as what calibration I'm running? Hmm I don't know. Pick one from the calibration list. I've tried so many I'm kinda lost ha. No matter what calibration I use it does the same thing..

without calibrations and datalogs it's impossible to even speculate

I reccomend taking the MSD off and seeing what happens.

MSD products = headaches.

Try this one. Sorry don't have a datalog at the moment. It's in my laptop. I'll tell you guys it doesn't show anything out of the ordinary that's for sure. I'll try to post it later.

Hi, picnic_george. Is this file works with JRSC with 440cc also?

Yeah you can use that. But I would only use it as a base and take your car to a tuner to make sure everything runs perfect. BUMP for the datalog and any help if it shows you guys something.
Thanks

I see nothing wrong in the datalogs. Do you have a Jackson Racing VPAC installed that controlls vtec activation? Have you tried putting the ignition back to stock? Without the calibration that the datalog was made with it is very difficult to comment further.

In all honesty I think I datalogged that run with the calibration off that link I posted. I have no vpac. Just the s300 that is it. It's like it's hitting a rev limiter. Under load or just in nuetral. Doesn't matter what map I use either. Seems to be consistent. I'm also going to look at my MSD but it doesn't seem likely.

Thanks

Well if it matters I put into another car and it reved it to 7500 so that was a good sign. Of course there was no boost present. Not sure if boost cut is a possibility w/ the s300. I'm gonna try to swap out my msd box/coil this weekend and see if it does anything different.

Looking at datalog, the rpm signal is very jagged above about 4000 rpm - which is a problem. Check ignition system and distributor.

Thank you. I changed the distributor to one that I know for sure works and it was exactly the same. I'll let you guys know after I change out the ignition and coil.
