if i clear a trouble code... if the problem persists, it will come back right?

EX: being a retard, i tried to upload a calibration while the engine was on. the engine cut off.. turned the car back on and a check engine light came on. Smanager says that its the knock sensor...but i just put a new one in.. so i cleared the code... and it's not coming back...everything cool right? :)

If the error does not come back, then you probably have no problem.
