Hondata

So with everything installed, my hondata blinks slowly. That prompted me to take the ECU back apart, and check to see everything was in there properly. Well, it is..

so I looked back to the installation guides, and it says that I need the "h071" ROM. But the part number that is printed on the ROM I have is "AT29C256 90PC 0212". Did I end up with the wrong ROM? Or is there something else that might be the problem?

I think it is best to calll your dealer. THe number on the rom does not reflect the number specified by Hondata. Ho71 should be the program used in your EEPROM. Could be a BAD ROM.
