cant upload base map for the first time

im trying to upload a base map (k20aitr)onto kpro and i cant click the "arrow up" upload button. bottom corner of laptop says "online" and say "keys off". buy my car is really on. i dont know whats going on. what map is preloaded in my ecu?
note: my fuel pump isnt priming and im not getting any power to my main relay, no cel . can this be a reason why its not uploading. i have a crxk20a,hasport harness, prc kpro. any help appreciated
