Open Loop

I have just noticed since I got my car retuned the car was left in open loop, I have been driving in open loop for about 4 weeks, just wondering what effect if any it has and should leave it or put it back to closed loop?

Assuming your o2 sensor is good and your tuner didn't intend to give you a 'leaner part throttle tune for better mileage', I'd turn closed loop back on and datalog and see what your short and long term fuel trims are when cruising on the highway or something. I'm guessing they will be negative, indicating that the most you would have done is run richer than normal. Even if you were leaner than normal, I doubt anything happened.
