d15b2 to a d15b

i recently put a d15b motor into a 91 hatch .....well the car had a d15b2 ..but since i put a jdm d15b motor do i need to swap out the ecu to a jdm ecu..the car starts but then dies out ...and i left the usdm d15b2 ecu in there..if anybody can help plz do :?: :?: :?:
