Provided you have a PowerPC laptop and not a new Intel based laptop. There is a possible solution.

http://www.apple.com/macosx/applications/virtualpc/

It emulates the x86 architecture and allows you to run windows (which you will need a copy of) on your mac. It does have USB support but some devices don't work quite correctly. I cannot tell you if the K-Manager software will operate correctly or not. This is something your either going to have to risk and try, or find someone who already has.

I would not recommend this. Just use a proper laptop designed to run WIndows XP

I use kmanager under windows2k on a p266 laptop with 96 megs of ram. It's actually 100% usable. When I datalog, I get at least 30+ frames a second as long as I close tables and graph.

Also you can run Virtual PC, which while making soem aps run slower does a pretty good job running normal apps. I would not suggest this for ont he fly tuning or anything else but for datalogging and tuning it should be ok. I personally would not run the risk uploading anything made running threw an emulator but its a walkaround.

We do not recommend running our software on anything other than Windows XP.

Sorry to chime in.....BUT. YES you can. I did it for a while until I borrowed a Windows based PC from a family member.
I used a Mac G4 17" PB 1.4 ghtz running Mac OSX Panther and Virtual PC 7 w/Win XP pro. Sure as snot it worked. Runs fine, uploads fine. It's going to be a little slow, however it's not much faster on a P4 2.0ghtz.
I don't think Hondata understands what a great job they did.

Sure, our software will run on virtual PC, but we do not recommend that you do that. The majority of people who contact us for support do so because they ignore either our recommendations, Honda's recommendations or common sense, and end up in a situation where something doesn't work correctly as a result. If you want everything to work as it should, follow our guidelines.

If I run into problems on the old pos win2k tuning laptop -- I'll try it on my nicer windows xp laptop before calling, as to not waste anyone's time ;).
