Hi! I?ve just installed K-Pro and uploaded the calibration file ?k20a2-civictyper-tuned.kal? on my European Civic Type R but the rev limit is not working: rev limit is set to 8100 rpm/min, but I can run more than 8300 rpm/min.
K-manager release is 1.2.1.3.
Can you help me please?
Thanks

The stock tach reads around 5% over. 8100 rpm will read 8500 rpm on the tach.

OK for the stock tach, but I've seen more than 8300 rpm from the datalog results and no rev limit cut happened.
Thanks.

Attached there is a datalog file were I reached 8232 rpm and I slowed down before the rev limit cut.
Unfortunately I don't have the datalog file were I saw 8300+ rpm, but if needed I can do more tests.
Thanks

The rev limit activates right at 8100 rpm. What you are seeing is the ECU not reading the rpm accurately once on the rev limiter, but the rpm is between 8000 - 8125 rpm. Try to avoid hitting the rev limiter - it puts a lot of stress on the engine.
