Application question:

Post by chnk8 »

Hi, I have a '91 Honda Accord 4dr(auto) with a JDM F22b DOHC head swap on a F22a1 block and have couple questions for you.

1. Which ECU do you recommend? P14 or the F22b one which I think is P39 or 59. I am kinda looking more towards the P39 or whatever since you don't have to install a knock sensor.

2. do you have an application that works with this?

3. I heard I can send the ECU to you guys and you can have it reprogrammed. How much does that service cost and can you do it with the JDM chip?(P39)

Thank you

You cannot use any of those ecu's with a Hondata system. You will need to use one of the compatible OBD1 ecus from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html and you can then use the Hondata s100, s20 or s300 depending on what options you want.

You can purchase socketed ecu's for either s100/s200 or s300 through any of our dealers. http://www.hondata.com/accessories.html
