Hondata,
Im doing some research and finding a way to have my immbolizer work in my 2006 RSX type-s when K-Pro is used. According to your info, when using an ECU from 'another vehicle' in my own, I will have to turn the immobilizer off.

My question is this... is there a way to have the immobilizer work 100% (no blinking light)correctly while using a 2002 K-Pro'd ECU in my car?

Yes, its probably very basic, but I am very confused still after a month of research. Thank you in advance.

You will have to have the key and immobilizer rekeyed to the new ECU by an Acura dealer.

I know it is a burdon, but I have to ask for stupid-proof directions...Im assuming Im getting the ECU matched to the Key and immobilizer. Is this something I can do w/ the ECU out of the wehicle (ie. just bring the ECU, key, immobilizer to the dealer)?

1. Phone Acura dealers and get prices for matching the ECU to the immobilizer. 2. Drive to the Acura dealer. 3. With KManager, enable the immobilizer. At this point the car will not start. 4. Allow Acura to use the 'replace ECU' function on their scan tool. 5. Drive away.

So Hondata,

To get the immbolizer working on 05+ do this:

1. Get KPro
2. Install KPro, go get tuned
3. Drive to Acura, kill the engine
4. Upload the same KAL but with immbolizer enabled
5. Remove ECU/Immbolizer
6. Give ECU/Immbolizer/Keys to Acura
7. Go drink some free Starbucks coffee
8. Leave
