is pm6 ecu "chip" availiable?

Post by iliosp »

i dont know if this has been posted again, so i just say it.

My car is a 4th generation honda using a PM6 Ecu.
i understand that it is easy to upgrade this ecu by simply editing the stock ingition and fuel times to better performance and burning them into a new "chip" that will replace the stock one.

The thing is that i found some of these "chips" that promice to raise the engine performance by 10-15% on e-bay.They cost 30-50 dollars, but some people i asked seem to not trust them and say that the revlimiter is increaced to very dangarous levels (9.000rpm) and the car only consumes more fuel rather has more performance.

Although i found a few rom editing programs i dont take my chances in programing the chip my self cause i dont know crap about ECU's.

I was just kind of wondering if there is a good software to download for the new chip, or a chip build by mugen or Hondata availiable for the PM6.I dont care how much it costs i just want performance to increace, I know many people have this car so there must be something availiable, perhaps i havent found it yet. my engine code is D15B2 SOHC 1.5L using as i said the PM6 ECU,it's manual (5spd) and with some tuning i have made the car is around 100-105hp.

ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFULL!

I'm sorry, but we do not offer any applications for that. You may be able to convert to OBD1, but that may not be possible on this vehicle.
