idle stuck in open driving mode....

Hi, I am helping a friend with his car (civic si 04 w/jrsc with kpro on original stock ecu rc 440cc injectors and a 4" "race kit" pulley) and here is the problem:

At idle the car misfires a ton... then I noticed at 850 rpm, and 40-50 kpa (closed loop setting ends at 80 for his calibration) and tps of 1... the car is in open loop - driving! This is bad, because no one ever tuned the fuel tables for his calibration on the low end... and when it does resort to open loop, it runs VERY rich, so much so that we fouled some spark plugs after 3 minutes of idle...

I know, we could easily change the fuel map in the idle range, and raising the idle to 1150 from 850 helped a bit... at 1150 the car will go to closed loop after you apply load: i.e. upon sartup it is open-driving, but move the car 1 inch, and it never goes to open at idle... with 850, everytime we stopped we would go to open driving.

I have a datalog, but its big, you can download it here:
home.comcast.net/~betsyrae/idle.kdl

ANY AND ALL HELP is greatly appreciated

thanks!

ps I am using v1.2.1.3

someone just alerted me to the fact that our map has a value of 7 in the idle target.... I'll fix that promptly!

It would seem to me that the civic si, integra type-r, and rsx base ecus do not support idle target lambda. Every time I try to create a calibration for any of them, that option under parameters is greyed out.

Raz, this is true of all prior versions of k-manager, but not the latest one available

Yeah I actually have the PRC ECU, I can locate the idle target lambda
