i have s300 and at cold start only i can hear the sound of a misfire and small pop in the exhaust almost like a back fire but very mild. once the car is heated up there is no more misfire....any suggestions. do you think my timing is off on the crank from what it is on my s300 ignition tables?
any thought would be helpful, thanks. tommy

That or the air fuel is incorrect when it is cold.

air fuel reads 13.5 or so and 14.7 to 15.5 . idle jumps up and down when cold start. idle is very lumpy. once car is warmed up a/f stays at 14.7 . thansk again for the help.

mid to high 12's then lean out as it gets warmer until it gets to operating temp at 14.7
