Jumper J12 Need to be Removed for S200?

On the Hondata site, it says to remove Jumper J12 but I am reading and hearing that this isn't needed when installing a S200. I am getting ready to install my S200 and I want to prevent problems ahead of time instead of trouble shooting them. Should I cut it or not? Does it hurt if I do connect? What kind of problems would I experience if I didn't? I am just wanting to know what to look for.
Thanks in advance.

With the s200 remove J12. If you don't remove J12 connection reliability will be affected.

So unhooking it can only help if I remove it. Correct?
Should I just unsolder it in case it needs to be put back on?

Just de-solder the resistor and have a friend pull it out at the same time. Before I took mine out my ECU Information(CTRL-M) would not populate and connections were bad. After I get info in ECU Information and I can connect much faster to Logger. RE is a different story though...
