new s300 question

just purchased s300. Do i need to do anything before initial startup?
i have a b18c5 84mm bore 9.4.1 w jrsc 8lb. I have read about keeping the bypass open when setting the a/f and ignition maps but what else do i need to do for my first startup so my motor is safe. anybody have a basemap for an application similiar to this setup? thanks for your help.
