muliplex disable feature and fuel system

Post by makibaka »

I am swapping a '02 K20A2 into a '92 Civic. I have chosen to set-up the car to be CA BAR legal (yes, I am a glutton for punishment). In order to pass, I have to run the entire RSX returnless fuel system (I have a complete wrecked RSX that I am stripping for parts).

I am trying to adhere to the principle of K.I.S.S., trying to avoid having to run the entire underdash RSX wire harness (i.e. multiplex, fuse box, etc.). However, will the RSX fuel system still function if I use the multiplex diable feature on the K-Pro? I can't seem to find the info in the OEM shop manuals if the fuel system is wired independent of the multiplex functions...

Any and all help is much appreciated. If I can resolve this issue and source an '04 Accord exhaust manifold/sensors/cat, I 'll be Cali legal soon!

The multiplexor is not needed to run the fuel pump. Good luck.

Thank you! It was hard to tell from the manual as it showed the fuel pump being fused at the underdash fuse box. And since the multiplex and fuse box are combined, I wasn't sure if the multiplex had control over it. Thanks for clearing that up!
