Im driving a DC5 JDM Type R, Im running with a Dyno tuned Map but I have noticed the option in under parameters/VTEC
The option for "VTEC oil pressure switch enabled" is ticked on. But I have read in the help files that the VTEC oil pressure For JDM engines and JDM ECUs should be disabled. Would this cause any kind of problem?

If you aren't having a problem , then don't worry about it. Typically JDM engines do not have a vtec pressure switch.

Well I am having a problem but I don?t think it?s related.
When driving under normal conditions Im getting a lot of splutter from the engine and what feels like a drop in power.
I get the splutter mostly between 2500/3000 RPM ?only? when changing gear. I put back in a normal ECU and the car ran fine it?s only with the K-pro. I have done quite a bit of reading on this but it doesn?t seem to be a common problem and I have been told it?s just the nature of the ECU but I find that hard to believe.
I wanted to try another Hondata map to see if it helps but I was also told never to upload a map from a Laptop to the ECU unless you?re on a Dyno, again Im not so sure about that one I was under the impression that Hondata just recommends that you don?t upload from the ECU to the Laptop but the other way if fine. Anyway if ya have any Idea on the splutter that would be great.

As long as you have the calibration saved that is currently in the ecu you can try different calibrations any time, just do not up load while the car is running.
