Is a S300 compatible with a P08 ecu?

Post by guilotine »

Were tuning a built B-series motors with some Toda ITB's...
Can we use a USDM P08 ECU from a VX with the new S300 system?
is there a special p08 I need to look for to be compatible with the S300?
Is there any negatives from using a P08 instead of a P28?

thanks-Gil

To my knowledge there is no rectangualr case P08. All P08's are JDM and square cases.

I believe the VX uses a P07 and it is not compatible with Hondata. Post a picture of the inside of the ecu.

there are two different po7s
one uses a five wire o2
the other (cali model) is identical to a p28 though it may be missing the power steering input.
if you have the correct one (4-wire o2) then yes it is compatable.
