throttle body.

Post by zaptypes »

What is the story with the aftermarket throttle bodies for the RSX type s? Are they worth the time money or effort? I've heard both sides of the story but maybe some of you guys you know what they do first hand. The RSX that I drive is a every day driver. So would it be worth it to purchase one of these if I don't have alot of engine mods to compliment it? Do they add a substantial amount of horse or is it basically not noticable?

Without the other ends (intake and exhaust) being opened, the restriction removed in the middle is likely to add no power. This happened to me when I added a race header with stock intake and exhaust. No power gain.

I could be wrong however.
