Nitrous question(again)

i was using the kpro before on my single fogger setup but now i changed to a 4 fogger dry setup and now the kpro has to add the extra fuel. im using the 0.9 beta version . before i sprayed the car i made sure the bottle was closed and activated the nitrous to make sure the af went pig rich, well they did but then it like flat lines at 11.43 a/f. the line looked way to straight to be correct so just to test it, i changed the fuel number to double the amount i had previously but it gave the same a/f.

now, i know the af sensor is fine because its giving the same readings as the dyno i was on recently. and the injectors are only at 78 duty cycle so im at loss for ideas.

the nitrous controls worked fine with the single fogger wet kit i had on before but now its acting up,

any ideas?

The k series wideband starts to become very inaccurate and sort of 'bottoms out' below 11.4 or 11.5. A reading of 10:1 will show up as 11.4:1 or similar. When tuning my supercharger, I cleaned up fuel that was flatlining at 11.4:1 by removing 3% at a time until the a/f started rising everywhere. If you're trying to reach something like 10:1 as a starting point, you're going to have to use another wideband or get it to like 11.7 or so and add 17% fuel or so across the band. Personally, I'd trust using another wideband more ;).

PS: I've never done nitrious.

oh ok so thats a normal thing then cuz it does drop to like 10.7 then suddenly flatlines at 11.4 ok sounds good so my nitrous is probbaly working correctly. thank you and enjoy!!!! lol thanks again.

Mine also goes to 10.7, but that's only while the o2 sensor is first starting and hasn't warmed up for it's first use. I think I've seen it hit 10.7 before in a datalog, but nothing that was 'on throttle' where you'd care about. My experience is that if you're on throttle in open loop mode, 11.4 is about as low as you see regardless of how rich you are. Definatly not acurate until 11.5 and above.
