k20a3 idles kind of high

idles pretty high for the stock calibrations...is there a way to cure this effect....mine idles between 1000-1300...and its pretty unsusal....i also need tips on uploading and reseting codes because if a make a change and upload while the car is on it doesnt do anything diffeent sometimes....so to make things consistant what should i do.......

You should not upload wiht the car running. Changes should only be made with the car off and the key in the on position.

You will have to post a datalog and the calibration you are using showign the idle problem so we can offer suggestions.
