05 KPRO ECU compatibility

Post by gabo »

I found an Integra type R ecu for sale. Can hondata modify this computer with kpro and harness ? Also I am in Cali so how can I pass smog if the OBDII has to be turned off on the 05 kpro's and the readiness code won't set?

I apologize is this questions have been answered before, I searched and found no answers......

The computer was sold already. Couldn't find out the part # either. Is there any way I could buy a computer through you(hondata)? Would you also mind answering the smog question? This is a determining factor in if I get Kpro or just go for the reflashed 05 ECU and give up my boosted RSX dream.

All our products are not for use on pollution controlled vehicles / for off road use only, so the smog question is only theoretical. The ECU will pass the sniffer test if it has a cat and OBDII is enabled and the readiness codes are set (yes, I know this contradicts the 'disable OBDII for the 05' statement, but will work long enough to pass smog). A JDM ECU will not pass an OBDII scan test as it does not have the internal circuitry to read the fuel tank pressure (which is why I asked the part #). We can sell ECUs as part of the 05 KPro package, contact a dealer to buy this.
