k100 or Reflash#4???
Ok, here's the deal. I want to do the ECU upgrade, but I'm not sure which way to go yet. If I'm understanding the info on the main Hondata site, then the Reflash is tuned to optimal settings with just CAI. I know it will see better gains with other parts(header and exhaust), but for the most part it's intended for CAI. Now if I'm reading right the k100 would allow me to make a list of my mods, and have it tuned for those mods. I was told by one of the H.A.R.T. guys that Hondata has dyno tuned just about every part out there for an '02 TYPE-S(same model that H.A.R.T.uses). I was also told that they had their VTEC lowered to around the 4500rpm mark. So the question is could I have the k100 tailored to my parts for a better tune than what a Reflash offers? Also how pos/neg of an effect would it be to have it tuned for the parts I'm installing before their on the car? I know the exact parts list I'm useing so that area is covered. I know this is not recomended, but I'm curious. I would like to spend my money with Hondata, but if this path is not at all doable then I won't waste my money. Also I know someone is going to want to yell KPRO, don't bother I know the diff between them. I know what I'm after just trying to see if I can get it from the guys at Hondata. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
