Quick Question about K-Pro with US 2005 Civic Si

Post by BlownSi05 »

just wanted to get some feedback on this if possible. i just put the JRSC race kit on my '05 Si and go the k-pro with it. im using the map for 440cc, CAI, Header, 4" pulley. my problem is i only picked up a 40hp gain from before to after. im running with OBD2 disabled because of the check engine light. my question is this: is there a possibilty that some of the sensors and such that affect your A/F, timing, and other related issues possibly different in the '05 compared to the '02-'04 models? as far as i know and have researched everything is the same, but i know that Jackson Racing has not done any '05 yet with that kit as far as i know. i did update k-manager this morning and reloaded the calibration this morning, and it does feel stronger. just wondering if anyone has any feedback on this. thanks for any info provided.

There is no difference in the 05 from previous years. You may just need additional tuning. You may also have a restrictive exhaust.
