SI KPRO w/ 2005 ECU?

Please answer ASAP! I understand that the SI ECU is compatible with the Type-S as long as you understand that there is no reverse lockout (and I think immobilizer doesn't work). But if I were to use an SI ECU with a 2005 (piggy back), would I retain the reverse lockout and immobilizer?
Thanks!

A 2005 ECU or 2005 vehicle? You can use the EP3 02-05 ECU in a 05 DC5, if that is what you are asking.

Ok here's the situation. I want to run KPRO on my 2005 DC5 and found a EP3 K100 ECU selling for cheap.
1. How much will it cost to upgrade the EP3 ECU to KPRO AND modify it with the harness to work with the 2005 DC5 ECU?
2. Will I retain my DC5 immobilizer and reverse lockout settings?
Let me know. Thanks.

1. Honda does not upgrade the k100 to KPros. Some dealers may trade k100s for a KPro. You would then need a KPro and adapter harness.
2. The ECU would have to be keyed to the vehicle by a Acura delaer. Generally a 02-04 EP3 ECU will work in a DC5, and an 05 ECU should work.

That doesn't really answer my question. I am trying to get an ECU so that I can use KPRO with my 2005 DC5. I just happened to find an EP3 that has K100 on it. It was my understanding that it is not difficult to upgrade K100 ECUs to KPRO since they're essentially the same thing.
I want to know if I am able to upgrade the EP3 to KPRO, would I be able to use it with my 2005 DC5 ECU in order to use KPRO?
It was also my understanding that no matter what 02-04 DC5 ECU I use, I would retain my 2005 DC5 immobilizer settings if I went KPRO and I wouldn't have to have the ECU rekeyed. Since that is the case, would it not make sense that the EP3 ECU would work regardless and I would retain my DC5 immobilizer and reverse lockout settings?

The PNF ecu does not have reverse lockout. The PRB has this and both can be rekeyed by any HOnda or Acura dealer.

The 6 speed transmissions have a solenoid on the transmission which the ECU activates at 20 kph to lock out reverse. This is to stop you mis-shifting 4th to 5th and 5th to 6th gearshifts.

Oh, ok. The only reason I ask is because I have an EP3 and am about to swap in a K24a2. I also want to use a 6 speed transmission. So my questions are:
1. Do I need to use a 6 speed ECU (RSX Type-S) with K-Pro?
2. Is it possible to use my 5 speed ECU w/ K-pro and have it work with a 6 speed transmission? What are the downsides if I do this?
3. What wire harness would I have to use?
Also, I let a friend with a Type-S use my 5 speed ECU w/ K-pro. I uploaded the map and everything started up fine. The only difference he said was the when he shifted from 4th to 5th, the shifter would go all the way to the right along the Reverse gate, but would not go up because obvisously there is no gear there. When he used his stock 6 speed ECU, he wouldn't be able to go that far to the right. The furthest he could shift was into 5th. Is this the reverse lockout?
Oh yeah, he also said that the K-pro program is awesome!

1. No.
2. Yes. The lack of reverse lock.
3. The EP3 harness. The crank sensor plug is different.
