Is it possible to use a PRC with a K-Pro on a Euro civic typeR (PRA ECU from the factory)? Does the PRC use a wideband? If yes, is it possible to use it on the CivicR which has a narrowband sensor?

Yes you can use it, but you will need to use the wideband sensor and do some rewiring to get it to work properly. Contact one of our UK dealers for details on this.

OK Thanks. What if I use a PRB base map and put the ECU in open loop? Will I have any problems then. THis is basically a race car and we do not need the O2 sensor anyway.

That is not recommended.

You need to first convert the map into a PRC map as it will cause running problems if you try to just upload a PRC one!
You then can run in open loop ok. It has been done on several cars in the UK including my own while awaiting the wiring mod changes for wideband.

Once the wiring mod is carried out and the wideband sensor is fitted you can once again run in closed loop.

It is also the same on the US Kpro'd ECU.

Cool. Thanks for the reply. One more question... Is it me or there is no PRC map in the K-Manager. When going to FIle->New, there are options for PRB, PRA, PND and PNF ECUs but no PRC. What base map can I use for my application?
